A very interesting development has surfaced in the now infamous #WhipGate scandal at the border.
Last year, if you recall, several Border Patrol agents were accused of whipping migrants at the border.
After initially supporting the agents, DHS Secretary Mayorkas flipped after Biden threatened the agents.
An email has surfaced proving that Mayorkas, while he joined Biden and Harris in raging about the agents, knew the migrants had NOT been whipped.
Truth Always Comes Out
The Heritage Foundation obtained an email via a FOIA request that Mayorkas already knew the whipping never happened.
Only hours before the email was sent, Biden stated, “To see people treated like they did, horses barely running over, people being strapped — it’s outrageous.
“I promise you, those people will pay.
“There will be an investigation underway now, and there will be consequences.
“There will be consequences.”
After Biden’s statement, Marsha Espinosa, assistant secretary of DHS public affairs, emailed Mayorkas and cc’d other DHS leadership that they had been in contact with the photographer who took the shot that created the outrage.
He had informed them it was the angle of the photo, but he did not see any whipping take place while he was there.
Yet, two hours later, Mayorkas joined then-White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki for a press conference.
He stated, “Our nation saw horrifying images that do not reflect who we are. We know that those images painfully conjured up the worst elements of our nation’s ongoing battle against systemic racism.”
National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd, on the deception, stated, “It clearly shows they are willing to lie to the American people for their self interests.
“They withheld facts and anytime you withhold facts from the American people… you should step down from your job.
“Better men step down. This clearly shows they are not better men.”
These agents are being punished for what people thought they saw rather than what actually happened.
This administration is scum from top to bottom.
