The story of the day is the leaking of the Roe v. Wade draft by Justice Samuel Alito.
If the leak is authentic and accurate, Roe v. Wade is about to take a massive hit.
So may the Supreme Court.
Threats Ensue
There are all kinds of threats flying around right now regarding the decision.
The draft by Alito blisters the initial Roe v. Wade decision for attaching abortion rights to the 14th Amendment.
Alito’s main issue is in linking abortion to privacy rights to make abortion constitutionally protected.
Alito’s stance is that abortion is something that should be controlled at the state level, not federally.
If his opinion becomes a reality, it would mean that red states could more than likely go much further than they already have in limiting abortions.
There should have been outrage in both the media and in DC over the leak. Instead, there were threats and celebrations.
The leaker, whoever the person may be, is being applauded as a hero by Dems and liberal pundits on TV.
The White House and Congress have also threatened to take action to beat the court to its opinion.
Senator Sanders (I-VT) is even hoping to kill the filibuster to pass abortion legislation at the federal level.
There is also this…

Keep in mind, we still have no idea if this is an actual opinion, as there are quite a few possibilities, including that Alito may just be writing it on the off chance that the majority opinion is falling this way.
I have a feeling this opinion was going to be released over the next two months during special sessions, but something tells me that if this is the majority opinion, Justice Roberts will now put it on the fast track to minimize the damage done by this leak.
Justice Roberts has also ordered an investigation to track down the leaker.
