Guthrie shared an old drawing made by her daughter, showing a blue umbrella in the rain above the words, “I know it might not seem like it, but I really need my mommy.”

“Found this old drawing from my daughter today,” Guthrie wrote on Instagram. “It says so much about how I feel.”

She described the strain of carrying on in public. “The world goes on, things appear ‘normal’ … but it’s not and it never will be,” she wrote. Speaking for her siblings and their families, she added: “We ache for her, we cry out for answers, we cannot move forward.”

“We need someone to help us, tell us what you know,” Guthrie wrote, noting that a reward is still available.

The post did not announce any new development in the investigation. According to Fox News, the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department have not identified a suspect, and no arrests have been made.

Nancy Guthrie was reported missing on Feb. 1. She was last seen at her home in the Catalina Foothills area shortly before 10 p.m. on Jan. 31.

Authorities believe she was taken against her will, and Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has said she “did not leave on her own.” The home’s doorbell camera captured a masked, armed individual who appeared to be tampering with the device.

In July, authorities released the contents of two ransom notes. The first, sent Feb. 2, claimed she was safe and demanded $4 million in bitcoin.

The second, sent four days later, claimed she had died shortly after being kidnapped. Investigators said the notes contain distinctive writing patterns and asked anyone who recognizes the style to come forward. A possible additional ransom text reported in September was later deemed not credible.

On Friday, the sheriff’s department said its Nancy Guthrie Task Force is still working with laboratories to advance DNA analysis, and that investigators traveled to Florida in October to meet with lab scientists. The agency reminded the public that no tip is too small.

Guthrie has returned to work on “TODAY” while continuing to press for answers. In June, she said she cries every morning on the way to work and again on the way home.

Anyone with information can call the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI or leave an anonymous tip at 520-882-7463.
