As Donald Trump’s popularity only continues to grow as we draw closer to the 2024 presidential election, many major Republican donors are circling back to rally around the former President. The primaries are set to begin in January, and it appears the only hope of defeating Joe Biden is through supporting Trump.

Mega-donors and grassroots supporters are coming together to back his campaign, believing he has the best chance of winning and leading them to victory in 2024.

This week, several high-profile donors who had previously been looking for an alternative candidate have announced their renewed support for Donald Trump.

Ed Broyhill, who was Trump’s finance chair in North Carolina during his 2020 presidential run, was among those considering other options but ultimately concluded that “there is no doubt in my mind that Donald Trump will be the nominee of our party” and declared himself back on board with a renewed enthusiasm.

Oil and gas billionaire Harold Hamm has also pulled away from other candidates to re-pledge his financial support for Trump after a period of estrangement between the two men. He noted there should not be much analysis behind this decision as he supports “a wide slate of candidates that he believes would make a good president” – including Trump.

With just months until voting begins, momentum is clearly building behind Donald Trump as more Republicans come around to seeing him as their best bet against Biden at this point in time – with some noting they have seen how things have shifted since polls opened earlier this year and now believe they can win if they all get behind President Trump again. As one unnamed donor told NBC News: “I want to win…They are moving back to President Trump, and I want to win.”

Currently leading polls by over forty percentage points according to Real Clear Politics average of likely voters – with only Florida Governor Ron DeSantis making it into double digits at twelve percent – it looks like Republicans may indeed be right about getting behind Trump if they wish to unseat Biden.
