Joe Biden is struggling to keep his personal beliefs separate from the radical leftist agenda he is promoting right now.

The latest gaffe came when Biden voiced his support for codifying Roe v. Wade.

Biden talked about aborting a child, which is a no-no in pro-choice circles, and Fox News’ Peter Doocy called White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on it.

The Stumble

When Biden was trying to explain his new position, he used the term “child of God.”

Peter Doocy jumped all over it, asking Psaki, “Why is the president talking about the judgment to choose to abort a child?”

Psaki responded, “The president’s view on a woman’s right to make choices about her own healthcare is well known, well documented, well stated.”

Now, if I were Doocy, this is when I would have agreed, then I would have ripped off Biden’s support for overturning Roe in 1982 with legislation presented by Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) and his support of the Hyde Amendment.

Instead, Doocy hit Psaki for saying the issue of abortion is not a political issue.

He stated, “Yes, you actually said ‘some call it a political issue, it is not,’”

Psaki replied. “Because the vast majority of the public believes that this should not be overturned, meaning I meant to say it’s not a partisan issue and I don’t think it is.

“There are many Republican and Independent women, [and] men across the country who do not believe the Supreme Court should overturn a woman’s right to make choices about her own healthcare.”

Here is the thing, however…

It doesn’t matter if people support the decision being overturned because this is a legal issue, not a voting issue.

If they want a law in place, then they need to vote in enough people to get the law passed, which they have never been able to do.

The fact of the matter is, and this comes from the late Justice Ginsburg, using the 14th Amendment to support Roe v. Wade left this decision open to be overturned.

Ginsburg even went so far as to say that Roe had nothing to do with a woman’s rights.

She contended that this suit was physician-centered, not woman-centered.

So, Jen, you lose.
