During President Trump’s term, the United States has become the world’s leading producer of oil and natural gas — reshaping the global energy economy from the shipping lanes of the Middle East to the factories of the Midwest.
In fact, it was during President Trump’s term when cheap and abundant energy had fueled a resurgence in domestic manufacturing.
During that time, the United States surpassed both Russia and Saudi Arabia to become the world’s biggest crude oil producer.
The Trump administration claimed its tax cuts and deregulation have contributed to the boom.
Suddenly, Joe came into the picture, from abundant to almost a standstill in terms of domestic oil production. This, of course, has led to extremely high has prices for Americans.
Joe’s first big move on this front was to shut down the Keystone Pipeline and end drilling on public lands. Biden believes it is better to import oil from countries that hate us like Venezuela, Iran, and Russia.
Until now, as Russia wages war on Ukraine, the Biden regime is importing hundreds of thousands of barrels of oil a day before from Russia. Essentially, Biden is funding Russia’s war machine.
On Monday, Jen Psaki was asked about US oil imports from Russia.
She tripped over her tongue on this one. Of course, the media hacks in the room gave her a pass. She’s a liar but she’s also a Democrat, which means she gets a free pass on just about everything she says.
