From the moment Amy Coney Barrett was nominated, virtually every Democrat that gets a microphone stuffed in their face says the nomination is both illegal and illegitimate.
That is a powerful statement to make when nobody fact checks it.
However, when challenged, that argument falls apart rather quickly.
Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) has been one of the biggest voices pitching this garbage narrative, but nobody had challenged him.
So, when he went on CNN with Wolf Blitzer, he was probably overly confident he could once again make allegations such as this without them being questioned.
Blitzer, however, must have been feeling a little feisty that day, because he not only challenged Blumenthal on the statement but also stayed on him until Blumenthal conceded the actions of the President and Republicans were NOT illegal nor are they illegitimate.
The charges are literally just a figment of the Democrat party’s imagination…

I am, however, still waiting on someone to challenge these idiots on what they would if they were in this position.
Oh… wait… they were when Obama nominated Merrick Garland in the last year of President Obama’s term.
