All the media and Democrats can talk about right now is GOP gerrymandering.
As I have stated before, we all know both sides do it, but it only seems to be a problem for Republicans.
Yet, New York is about to eliminate four GOP congressional seats, and the media does not seem to care.
Sue Them!
The Democrat playbook when they believe the GOP is gerrymandering is to take them to court.
In most cases, they seem to win because the judiciary is now packed with liberals.
There are several lawsuits in the works right now in states over one or two seats, and the GOP has lost two cases already.
However, it should be noted that when new congressional maps were drawn, studies showed that it was the Democrat Party that was benefitting more from the new maps based on the latest census.
To that point, the New York maps were approved by Governor Hochul, and I am sure she was more than happy to ink that document.
That is because the Democrat Party has removed four seats from GOP strongholds that are now likely to go to a Democrat.
Finally, the GOP has filed suit to stop the new map…

The lawsuit states, “This court should reject it as a matter of substance, as the map is an obviously unconstitutional partisan and incumbent-protection gerrymander.”
Mike Murphy, a spokesman for state Senate Democratic Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, responded, “They are a gigantic step forward for fairer representation and reflect the strength and diversity of New York like never before.”
This will be a tough win, however, as the GOP has already lost one suit in a blue state.
The GOP’s effort to fight another map that was gerrymandered in New Jersey went down in flames.
The judges ruled, “This Court has no role in the outcome of the redistricting process unless the map is ‘unlawful.'”
Chief Justice Stuart Rabner added, “Questions of partisanship or the appearance of partisanship can affect the public’s confidence, yet our current system is designed to be overseen by twelve partisan members and a thirteenth member whom the party delegations propose.
“The outcome commonly garners praise from one party and criticism from the other.”
Douglas Steinhardt, a former chairman of the New Jersey Republican State Committee, did not agree…
#NJ Supreme Court to 9M NJerseyans: Nothing unconstitutional about Dems cheating, so we won’t help you; 9M NJerseyans to NJ Dems: See you at the polls in November; & Me to NJ fired up Republicans: Find a campaign & win! #LeadRight https://t.co/vWqN1MjcAO

The GOP also lost its suit in North Carolina…

New York is going to be a very large deal and if the GOP loses this battle, believe it or not, Democrats could actually hold Congress.
