Two cowardly Hamas commandos were captured by alert soldiers of the Israeli Defense Forces. They were hiding incognito as part of a United Nations aid operation. “IDF troops from the 252nd Division” detained a UN convoy. They only did that because they learned “Palestinian suspects infiltrated the convoy while en route in the northern Gaza Strip.”
Hamas infiltrates UN
Two goat-humping Hamas terrorists hitchhiked a lift from the UN, hoping their convoy would protect the mercenaries along their travels. Contrary to the protests of the left, the convoy wasn’t carrying polio vaccines. It was carrying people. A fresh crew was coming in to relieve the tired crew of workers at the vaccination station.
Whining UN officials, who claim they have to put shots on hold because they didn’t get needed workers, are full of crap. They have the supplies. The tired crew simply doesn’t want to work a day longer than they contracted for and they’re blaming it on the Israelis.
Reports coming in from Maariv “indicated that an initial inspection by soldiers revealed two Hamas terrorists inside the convoy.” That was easy to confirm.
“The UN had provided a list of employees who were supposed to be in the convoy, but the two terrorists were not on that list.” Next time they want to try that move, they’ll have to shoot a couple of UN workers and assume their identities.
The IDF made it crystal clear that their troops “did not use force on either the convoy or the terrorists.” With all the diplomats wrangling over a ceasefire deal the last thing the Israelis wanted was to cause “an international incident.”
Separating the Hamas commandos from the civilian aid workers and dragging them off for torture did the trick.
Intelligence information
The Israelis only knew that there were Hamas terrorists hidden in the trucks because one of their spies tipped them off. After getting “intelligence information that a number of Palestinian suspects were present in the convoy,” IDF forces stopped and searched it.
All they wanted to do was “question the suspects.” They’ll be questioned a whole lot more thoroughly once they get back to base.
The liberal left was quick to get out a whole bunch of misinformation designed to make Israel look bad. To cover for Hamas commandos hidden in with aid workers, initial media reports claimed “the convoy was a humanitarian aid convoy transporting polio vaccines.” Nope, sorry, the IDF countered.
“We emphasize that this is not a convoy that transported polio vaccines, but a convoy whose purpose is a personnel exchange of UN personnel.”
UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini was outraged about the stop and search. Even though two Hamas terrorists were indeed embedded with his convoy, he vented his anger on social media. “The Israeli Army stopped a UN convoy on its way to northern #Gaza for more than eight hours today (Monday) despite prior detailed coordination.” They didn’t coordinate free passes for terrorists.
“The convoy had both national & international staff traveling to roll out the #polio vaccination campaign for children in Gaza city.” They’ll get there, just eight hours late.
