Since leaving politics, Hillary Clinton has stuck her nose into plenty of different ventures.

One of those being a new Broadway play called “Suffs.”

Unfortunately, Hillary’s play is not exactly filling the theater during its busiest time.

Epic Fail

Hillary is serving as the producer of the play, which covers the suffragette movement in this country circa 1913.

The play had a good run at The Public Theater, but since moving to Broadway, the show has struggled.

According to the most recent reports, “Suffs” is only performing to an 81% capacity audience, which puts it among the bottom quarter of all 35 shows on Broadway right now.

When you consider the importance of this time of year in the Broadway schedule, where Tony awards come to live or die, this has to be a huge disappointment for Hillary and company.

The play is by singer-songwriter Shaina Taub, directed by Leigh Silverman, and produced by lead producers Jill Furman and Rachel Sussman, along with co-producers Hillary Clinton and Malala Yousafzai.

Additionally, Kamala Harris’ niece, Meena Harris, has a producer’s credit for the show.

If you expected “woke” in this play, you would get it, as it only has women and “non-binary” cast members.

On the play, Hillary Clinton stated, “I know how important it is to have relationships with the people you’re working for, as you’re taking risks and you’re doing things that have never been done, whether it’s running for president in my case or having a march on Washington in 1913 to try to convince the president and the Congress to adopt the amendment to let women vote.”

It looks like Hillary will have to figure out another way to line her pockets because Broadway is clearly not her niche.
