Security says the rumors of explosives discovered at Wednesday’s Donald Trump rally in Long Island, New York were “unfounded.” That’s not true. The reports were “based on solid reasons or facts.” Ones the Secret Service doesn’t want to go into a whole lot of detail explaining. All you really need to know is that the Deplorable-in-Chief wasn’t actually in danger. They think you’ll let their latest botched job slip under the radar.

Security blew it again

Donald Trump’s security team blew it again. Everyone attending the Long Island, New York, rally on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, were edgy over reports that “an explosive was found near the rally’s venue.

The Secret Service is quick to assure everyone there was never an actual threat to anyone. They aren’t saying much about what did happen but it’s being pieced together from scattered sources.

The rumors going around said that police found “explosives” in a car parked near the rally.

Even though they eventually determined that attempt number three to assassinate the future president didn’t happen, a civilian with vague ties to law enforcement blew a few holes in Trump’s security protection before they knew what happened.

Apparently, a civilian dog trainer was using the rally as an opportunity to hold a field-trip bomb sniffing class for his latest pupil. What freaked everyone out was the driver of a vehicle containing what looked like explosive devices “ended up running into the woods.

OAN reports that “the rally site perimeter was breached and a blue barrel was removed.” Security won’t say a word about how they allowed it to be placed there.

The Secret Service thinks you’ll let their latest botched security job slip under the radar.

Veterans Memorial Coliseum

While the media are diligently doing their part to help the Secret Service cover their backside, nobody can deny there were a whole bunch of “supporters for the Republican candidate lined up outside of the location.

They got there before dawn ahead of an evening rally. Security would have had a tough time explaining how they got blown up if it was a car packed with real explosives and a blue barrel full of them, for good measure.

The Nassau County Police Department was quick to rush out a statement. “Reports of explosives being found at the site are unfounded.” Then, he proceeds to give us the foundation. “Authorities confronted a person who may have been training a bomb detection dog near the site.” He’s in deep crap.

The individual with the bomb dog falsely reported explosives being found and that individual is currently being detained by police.” Security let him and his dog through the perimeter, then lost him. Nobody talks about that.

If it was a real hit attempt, instead of a training exercise, this would be the third against Trump. With zero against his opponents, who aren’t worth the bother. Security barely caught Ryan Wesley Routh before he nailed Trump on the golf course, in Florida, over the weekend.

Before that, in July, they allowed Thomas Matthew Crooks to wander through a lax security perimeter and lost sight of him for a while. They found him, before he managed to climb into the absolute perfect sniper perch. They watched him shoot at Trump, gave him eight tries, then shot him dead. We’re still wondering who he was communicating with using encryption.
