Get ready for liberals to lose their minds.

A monumental decision was dropped by the Supreme Court today in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Keith M. Corlett.

This decision will impact states around the country, with Joe Biden and company already shaking their heads in disapproval.

Monstrous Win for Gun Rights

This case centered around having to “show cause” to be awarded a concealed carry permit.

This is something that is in place in numerous states, but that will not be the case much longer.

Two New Yorkers were denied a concealed carry license because they could not “show cause” as to why they needed to carry a gun for protection.

The majority decided you don’t need to show cause because it is a constitutional right.

The majority opinion, which Justice Clarence Thomas authored, stated that the “proper-cause requirement violates the Fourteenth Amendment by preventing law-abiding citizens with ordinary self-defense needs from exercising their Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms in public for self-defense.”

He continued, “The constitutional right to bear arms in public for self-defense is not ‘a second-class right, subject to an entirely different body of rules than the other Bill of Rights guarantees.’

“The exercise of other constitutional rights does not require individuals to demonstrate to government officers some special need.

“The Second Amendment right to carry arms in public for self-defense is no different. New York’s proper-cause requirement violates the Fourteenth Amendment by preventing law-abiding citizens with ordinary self-defense needs from exercising their right to keep and bear arms in public.

“Nothing in the Second Amendment’s text draws a home/public distinction with respect to the right to keep and bear arms.

“This definition of ‘bear’ naturally encompasses public carry.

“Most gun owners do not wear a holstered pistol at their hip in their bedroom or while sitting at the dinner table.”

New York Governor Hochul erupted on Twitter over the decision…

Joe Biden also made a statement, expressing his disappointment in the court.

Biden stated, “This ruling contradicts both common sense and the Constitution, and should deeply trouble us all.

“I call on Americans across the country to make their voices heard on gun safety. Lives are on the line.”

This is a huge, huge win for lab-abiding citizens looking to protect themselves against the thuggery in this country that Democrats are allowing.
