A sick and twisted pervert in Oregon will spend the rest of his life in a prison cell. His will be bigger and more comfortable than the one in his basement. Which Negasi Zuberi kept captured hookers in. He was sentenced January 17 for “kidnapping and sexually assaulting two women.” There may have been more.
Life in prison
Negasi Zuberi will certainly learn to appreciate the karmic irony of life in a prison cell. The 31-year-old Oregon criminal was sentenced on Friday to life in a federal penitentiary. The jury convicted him back in October.
He liked keeping prostitutes locked in a cinder block cell he built in his basement.
Zuberi was tried on charges of kidnapping, transportation for criminal sexual activity, being a felon in possession of a weapon and attempting to break out of jail.

Apparently, he tried “to smash through his cell window in August 2023.” Some say putting him in prison is too lenient.
“This is not a man who deserves to be around others,” one victim testified at Zuberi’s sentencing hearing. “He shows blatant disregard and lack of care for human life.”
The press doesn’t like giving victim’s names but she’s happy he won’t ever be getting out of prison. At least, they’re not supposed to let him out.
Serial predator
Negasi Zuberi is not a nice guy. Assistant United States Attorney Jeffrey Sweet calls him “a serial predator who committed acts of evil.” He’s also glad to hear the life in prison sentence.
“In July 2023, Zuberi solicited a woman to engage in prostitution along Aurora Avenue in Seattle.” He didn’t want to pay for her services.
Instead, he had a plan to get free tail any time he wanted it. “He told the woman he was an undercover officer, showed her a badge, pointed a Taser at her and placed her in handcuffs and leg irons before putting her in the back of his vehicle.”

Then, he took her home and put her in his own home made prison cell. “He then drove hundreds of miles to his home in Klamath Falls, Oregon, and locked the woman in a cinder block cell in his garage.”
As related by the FBI, “the woman escaped after repeatedly banging on the cell door until it broke open.” He managed to flee the scene but was later arrested in Reno, Nevada.
“Federal authorities later linked him to a second kidnapping in May 2023, in which he was convicted of abducting a woman outside a Klamath Falls bar.” That time, he also “threatened her with a Taser, handcuffed her in the back of his vehicle and sexually assaulted her.” He didn’t have his basement prison cell built yet.
