A US-run base in Syria came under attack on Monday.
The attack was initiated by armed drones.
According to early reports, no US troops suffered any injuries.

The base, located in al-Tanf, has been attacked numerous times before.
US forces were able to shoot down one drone before it entered the base’s airspace.
The second drone, however, was able to detonate.
The last attack that took place in similar fashion happened in October 2021.
That attack was slightly more intense, with the base also coming under indirect fire.
No injuries were reported in that attack, either.
US forces remain in the area to assist Syrian opposition forces.
