After going through a trial for killing two men and being acquitted, Kyle Rittenhouse surely thought all the nonsense from his 2020 incident was behind him.
Sadly, it is not.
Even though he was acquitted, a liberal judge has decided to kick open the door to a civil suit.
Not Over Yet
The father of Anthony Huber, John Huber, has filed a wrongful death suit against Rittenhouse as well as the local police.
To me, especially because Rittenhouse was acquitted, it seems ridiculous.
According to Huber, his son’s constitutional rights were violated and authorities conspired with Rittenhouse to do harm to his son.
This seems more like science fiction theater than reality.
Unfortunately, Judge Lynn Adelman, a Bill Clinton judge, found that Huber’s death “could plausibly be regarded as having been proximately caused by the actions of the governmental defendants.”
For those of you that do not recall, Huber was the one with the skateboard that hit Rittenhouse in the neck.
From the video that I saw, he was also reaching for Rittenhouse’s weapon.
When it appeared that Huber was going to hit Rittenhouse a second time, Rittenhouse fired a single shot, putting Huber down, with him later succumbing to his wound.
Attacking someone does not seem like a constitutional right, but I guess we will have to see what the judge and jury think about this one.
