If the media does its job, the Biden administration is about to get crushed.
Last year, Joe Biden set a grim record for migrant deaths at the border with 557.
The only reason that number was so low was that three months of the fiscal year were under the Trump administration when immigration was still under control.
This fiscal year, we are getting a much better picture of the risks people are willing to take, and it is not pretty.
Grim Record
With a full month left to go in Fiscal 2022, there are nearly 750 migrants that have died crossing the border.
That is a new record and one that will likely be more than 800 by the end of the month.
The odd thing about this is the media is not saying a word.
Yet, when Trump was president, reports blew up every time a floater was seen in the Rio Grande.
If you go back to Fiscal 2019, there were 247 deaths, and Trump was taking heat from Democrats and the media almost daily.
The numbers are rising because of Biden’s loose border policies that no longer enforce our border laws.
If you can make it across the border, you are in, which is why numbers have risen from 458,000 encounters in 2020 to 1.73 million in 2021, and a final total that will be well over two million by the end of this fiscal year.
The administration is deflecting blame to human smuggling, stating, “Smuggling organizations are abandoning migrants in remote and dangerous areas, leading to a rise in the number of rescues but also tragically a rise in the number of deaths.
“The terrain along the border is extreme, the summer heat is severe, and the miles of desert migrants must hike after crossing the border in many areas are unforgiving.”
Every cause has an effect, right, and this administration loves to talk about root causes.
What root cause has created a booming business for human smugglers?
That would be the Biden administration’s loose border policies.
Every death over the norm, every single one, is blood that can never be washed off Joe Biden’s hands.
