While Democrats look for every reason they can to take shots at Republicans in office, they continue to ignore the debacle that is Chicago.
In Lightfoot’s Chicago this weekend, there were a total of 53 shootings.
Six of those have already died, leaving 47 more injured from yet another violent weekend in the city.
Blood in the Streets
Sadly, the usual weekend burst of violence kept going through Monday morning.
Just after midnight, a couple was shot when they were standing in the street.
The man, only identified as a 22-year-old male, died from his wounds.
The woman, who was 20, was taken to a local hospital and was recovering at the time of this report.
Through August 7, a total of 399 people have already been murdered in the city of Chicago.
