It took me about 15 minutes to figure this all out.
If you look at higher educational donations to political campaigns over the last two decades, would you be surprised if I told you that 70 percent of that money went to Democrats?
That is just the beginning.
Let’s focus on 2020 when student loan forgiveness was the hot topic during the debate season.
The final three standing in the Democrat Party were Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), and Joe Biden.
Would you be surprised if I told you that Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren received the most money from higher education donors?
Between the three of them, they collected more than $90 million in the cycle, with Joe Biden getting the lion’s share of $64.5 million, which would make sense because he was the nominee.
Lobbyists for higher education reportedly spent more than $100 million, so this is some big money at play here.
How does higher education benefit from student loan forgiveness?
Well, more kids will decide to go to school knowing the register is open, which means the program has created a seller’s market.
In a seller’s market, prices go up, and most experts agree that with more kids going to college, tuitions will skyrocket.
This was more or less a legal bribe to help higher education make more money.
Mind you, collectively, all the major universities probably have more in endowments than the loans being wiped off the books by Joe Biden.
Instead of holding schools accountable for outrageous educational costs, Biden is making them richer.
And do not miss the fact that Warren and Sanders were at the front of the line pushing for this forgiveness package.
They benefit just as much because the campaign money keeps flowing for them.
They say they want to get free education for this generation, but they really want that campaign money to keep rolling in.
We have been duped, my friends, again, but they will not get away with it this time!
