Tucker Carlson decided to take Friday night off.
I have to admit, I was a bit stunned by his replacement.
None other than Tulsi Gabbard filled in, which, I thought, was an odd choice.
Buying In
Are people making the mistake of buying into Gabbard a bit too much on the conservative side?
Gabbard is NOT a conservative.
She is, however, a useful Democrat.
If you checked out her platform when she was running for president, there were a few conservative issues, but she was left on most of them, very left on some.
To me, Gabbard is someone that we do not get upset about when she takes over a deep blue seat.
Point being, we can work with her on some issues, she will at least listen to all of them to get our perspective.
However, as a Republican, she would be a complete disaster.
I am bringing all this up because I see a lot of chatter to have her register as a Republican and run again.
She has been a Fox News contributor since the election and now she is filling in for Tucker Carlson, getting huge exposure.
I like Gabbard, but I don’t like her as a Republican candidate.
I like her because I think she fairly represented her constituents, which, left or right, is all we can ask of elected officials.
I do not know many conservative states or districts, where her overall platform would be accepted.
