San Francisco happens to be the place Kamala Harris got her big start in politics. It’s no surprise that the city’s Mayor London Breed would jump on Gavin Newsom’s fresh “suggestion” to clean up homeless encampments. The fentanyl zombie invasion which chased all the businesses away from the liberal paradise wasn’t a good enough reason to clean up the city. Now that Kamala is looking at being president, if only temporarily as a stand in for Joe, they need to crack down and clean the place up.
San Francisco begins enforcement
Using Gavin Newsom’s recent executive order as an excuse, the city of San Francisco “is set to begin enforcing penalties to clear homeless encampments.” SCOTUS cleared the way with a recent decision which “upheld an Oregon city’s homeless policy.”
Liberal advocates were horrified to learn that people can actually be legally charged with the crime of sleeping outside.
San Francisco is moving full speed ahead with plans to use what they like to call “progressive penalties.” Enforcement is about to get a lot more aggressive. The tent cities will soon be cleared away, citywide.

The mayor’s office claimed they’ve wanted to do this for a long time but couldn’t until the Supreme Court gave the green light. The timing has nothing to do with Joe Biden’s decision to back out of his campaign, they insist.
“Warnings will be followed by citations,” an official statement declares. You can ignore the warning and rip up the ticket but penalties escalate. Police are allowed to make arrests. They don’t want to but they can if they have to.
They would much prefer “compliance.” San Francisco has a bunch of housing available. The only problem is nobody wants to live in it.

Begin dismantling encampments
Newsom started the ball rolling July 25, in his executive order, by directing all state officials to “begin dismantling encampments on state property.” He also “encouraged local governments to adopt policies consistent with the state’s.”
San Francisco took him up on it. No matter what the bleeding-heart liberal advocates have to say, writing a ticket for urban camping isn’t “cruel and unusual” punishment.
“There are simply no more excuses. It’s time for everyone to do their part,” Newsom insists. They can be polite about rounding up all the transients the polices they adopted are all “humane and dignified.”
PRIMETIME INVESTIGATION: Who is Kamala Harris? A dangerous San Francisco radical, tagged as the most liberal senator- more extreme than Bernie Sanders. If @KamalaHarris gets her hands on America, she’ll empty the prisons. And if you’re on death row for murder, she’s willing to… pic.twitter.com/xRWotIw1Aq

Far-left radicals in San Francisco need to accept the fact that cities can “move urgently to address dangerous encampments while supporting and assisting the individuals living in them.”
The homeless advocates and the more radical elected officials “immediately voiced outrage.” Crackdowns, “without providing adequate shelter and other services – would simply move people to other areas in a state where the cost of living is high and the number of shelter beds limited.”
San Francisco denies that. They will conduct “encampment operations” by “offering shelter and services to those on the street.” Police will enforce the tickets with arrests. Any “personal property” cleared away by the state will be retained for a reasonable period of time to be reclaimed by the rightful owner. Nobody has any real reason to complain but you can bet they will. Loudly.
