Macron is only a couple of days removed from his big win over Marine LePen.
While Macron did enjoy a double-digit win, it was the most votes ever garnered by LePen, so there is hope that conservatives in the country are starting to stand up for themselves.
Even so, many were surprised that Macron had such a wide margin of victory considering how underwater he was in polls.
Macron found out the hard way that not everyone was happy he managed to get re-elected.
As he was working his way through a crowd in Cergy, at least one spectator launched tomatoes at Macron.
Macron’s security detail quickly tried to cover his head with their hands before opening up an umbrella to protect him.

Macron’s victory was just a tad bit bittersweet for Biden.
Joe Biden tried to call Macron and congratulate him on his victory on Sunday, but Macron was too busy partying to take his call.
It was just another on a long list of embarrassing moments on the world stage for Biden.
