The Pentagon is bracing for a major change in management. Incoming Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is expected to “fire more than half a dozen generals and flag officers” any moment now. A couple of insiders leaked that it’s all “part of an effort to purge the department of senior leaders perceived as either too political or too close to former Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

Housecleaning the Pentagon

Major personnel changes are coming to the Pentagon. In a matter of hours or days.

Rumors about the impending dismissals have been percolating for weeks, but a more formal list of those who could be fired was recently shared with Republican lawmakers.” That means “dismissals could be imminent.

Democrats are left totally in the dark, they haven’t been “briefed directly” about the Pentagon shakeup but they’re certain it’s coming.

NBC got word that the “list was sent to lawmakers.” Half of Washington is speculating who’s on it. Some names are easy to figure out.

Everyone is certain that the first name on the list will be General C.Q. Brown, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Before he was even nominated for the job of defense secretary, Pete Hegseth called for Brown to be canned “because of his ‘woke‘ focus on diversity, equity and inclusion programs inside the military.” All the pantie wearing generals and admirals will be dragged out of the Pentagon closet and shown the door.

All about readiness

America isn’t going to win any wars by swishing into battle. “First of all, you’ve got to fire the chairman of the Joint Chiefs,” Hegseth observed in November.

Any general that was involved,” which means admirals too, “that was involved in any of the DEI woke s— has got to go.” The Pentagon lost sight of the primary mission long ago.

Other names on the list aren’t too hard to figure out. Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Lisa Franchetti is bound to be on it. She’s “the first woman ever to serve on the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

It looks like she will also be the last. When she’s chased out of the Pentagon, it will “leave the military without a female four-star general.” She was only hired because she’s a woman.

Last year, Hegseth mentioned her in his book. “If naval operations suffer, at least we can hold our heads high. Because at least we have another first! The first female member of the Joint Chiefs of Staff — hooray.

Clearly, he was not impressed. The Pentagon is expected to lose a lot of heavy brass. Terminations are expected to dive all the way down to the one-star and two-star general levels.
