Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) just found out what it is like when you tangle with the old bear.
During a recent interview, AOC openly stated that change is needed atop the Democrat party leadership food chain.
She specifically noted that both House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) need to be replaced by more progressive leaders in the party.
That stance cost AOC and it cost her HUGE.
Rather than outright nominate AOC for a spot on the coveted House Energy and Commerce Committee, Pelosi left it open to a ballot between AOC and fellow New York Democrat, Kathleen Rice.
When the ballots were counted, Rice won the nomination in a landslide, 46-13.
For AOC, that is about as big a slight as she could face by her party.
This more or less ensures that AOC will be extremely vocal when Joe and Kamala do not bow to the uber leftists in the party.
Remember that internal war in the Democrat party we have been talking about… well, the first shots were just fired.
