“The verdict is in, and there’s only one thing left for Nappy Gilmore to do: Resign,” Kimmel said, referring to the president. “Quit already, just quit.”
Kimmel accused Trump of “blaming everyone other than” himself for the results. He was responding in part to a White House post on X captioned “PSA: Trump is still your president.”
After the election, Trump congratulated Democrats, suggested working with them on legislation and acknowledged that the Iran war had cost Republicans votes, according to the report.
The White House has called Kimmel a “no-talent loser who has beclowned himself with tanking ratings.”
Breitbart attributed the remark to the White House without naming a spokesperson, and said the White House first used the “no-talent loser” line in response to a pre-election monologue.
The report did not say whether the White House issued a new response to Wednesday’s remarks.
