Overwhelming his nation with illegal migration backfired on Justin Trudeau. Canada’s rainbow sock wearing prime minister is so unpopular in the polls that running for another term would be a waste of time and money. His own. Nobody wants to donate a dime to keeping him in office.

Migration overwhelmed Canada

The flood of mass human migration into Canada overwhelmed even the most liberal of our norther neighbors. They love doing their fair share, socially.

The problem is that Justin Trudeau allowed way too many migrants in all at once. For that, he’s got to go.

Trudeau didn’t even mention the migration issue when he announced his departure on January 6. He’s not leaving the bureaucracy in a lurch, assuring everyone that he’ll “stay on as prime minister until the Liberal Party chooses a new leader.

The way they have it set up, the party’s leader “can tender his or her resignation at any time, triggering a leadership contest.

It’s expected that the process of picking his replacement will take a few months but there’s a chance that the party “will try to speed-up that process, as 2025 is an election year for Canada.

They want to make sure he’s out of the way before October. Parliament doesn’t appear to be upset enough about the explosive migration numbers to call for a snap election. They could do that if they decide to topple his government, though.

Tired of Trudeau

Even liberals in his own party say it’s time for Trudeau to go. They don’t mind the out of control migration as much as they fear major tariffs slapped in place by incoming U.S. President Donald Trump.

According to Liberal Party Parliament member Kody Blois, “Trudeau had to resign from his position because of Canadians’ fatigue with him.” He’s been hanging around Ottawa for nine whole years now. That Blois pointed out is “a long time in any modern political reality.

Trudeau and his colorful socks were constantly on the TV. “He was in the media and the public eye a lot and a lot of my constituents – yes they may have certain concerns around policy agenda – but largely I think it just became a bit of fatigue with the Prime Minister himself.

That and the huge wave of migration which made housing impossible to find, jobs scarce and medical care even worse than it was before.

Canadians, especially the liberal ones, are paying close attention to U.S. politics. They’re terrified of Donald Trump. His inauguration date is “closely being watched in Canada, as Trump has threatened to impose 25% tariffs on Canadian goods.” That’s not an idle threat.

He’ll put a huge damper on their trade income unless they do something about unchecked migration. They can hang on to all the asylees they want but letting them slip across our border is totally unacceptable. Trump’s seriously kicking around the idea of annexing Canada as our 51st state. Democrats are terrified that he might do it. He might just annex Greenland and Panama, too.
