The media is finally starting to tell the truth about Joe Biden, and the White House his not happy.
The Wall Street Journal did a deep dive into Joe Biden’s mental acuity, and the summary of the report is that while everyone is putting on a good public face, behind closed doors, people are worried about Joe.
Needless to say, the White House was livid after the report was published, calling it a “hit piece” against Biden.
Not the Same Man
The funny thing about the report is that not too many Democrats appeared to want to go on the record to push the Democrat narrative that Joe Biden was “sharp as a tack,” as we have heard Biden officials say since this has become an issue.
Former Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told the publication, “I used to meet with him when he was vice president. I’d go to his house.
“He’s not the same person.”
There were several other quotes along the same lines, with some Democrats trying to sugarcoat it, saying that Biden was obviously older and while he may not have the energy he had 10 years ago, he was still mentally sharp.
White House Spokesman Andrew Bates stated, “Congressional Republicans, foreign leaders and nonpartisan national-security experts have made clear in their own words that President Biden is a savvy and effective leader who has a deep record of legislative accomplishment.
“Now, in 2024, House Republicans are making false claims as a political tactic that flatly contradict previous statements made by themselves and their colleagues.”
Senator James Risch (R-ID) pushed back, stating, “What you see on TV is what you get.
“These people who keep talking about what a dynamo he is behind closed doors—they need to get him out from behind closed doors, because I didn’t see it.”
As we noted above, the WJS was having problems getting Democrats going on the record, so the White House was apparently blowing up phone lines of Democrats telling them to pick up the phone to give a quote that would help Biden for the piece.
On top of this, Biden traveled overseas for the D-Day memorials, only to give a slurred speech, miss cues, then be rushed off stage by Jill Biden after the ceremony because Joe’s batteries had pretty much died out and she did not want to see him embarrassed anymore.
How anyone can say this man is sharp is beyond me.
If you want to vote for him because you despise Donald Trump, fine, be my guest, but don’t try to sell this empty vessel to me as a competent president.
