Democrats are having a tough week in terms of congressional maps.

At one point, their gerrymandering appeared to be ready to offset a significant amount of the seats they were expected to lose in this year’s election.

Now, yet another case has fallen against them, with the Kansas Supreme Court upholding the redrawn congressional map.

Sorry, Governor

Democrat Governor Laura Kelly had vetoed the map when it was first put on her desk, then the court battle started.

In upholding the new lines, the Kansas Supreme Court stated, “A majority of the court holds that, on the record before us, plaintiffs have not prevailed on their claims that [the redistricted map] violates the Kansas Constitution.

“Therefore, the judgment of the district court is reversed and the permanent injunction ordered by the district court is lifted.

“A full opinion describing the facts, rationale, and holdings of the court is forthcoming, along with all dissenting or concurring opinions of members of the court.”

This decision and the recently drawn New York congressional map now have me believing that we can flip more than three dozen seats come November.

Pelosi and company are in for a bit of a butt whooping.
