Kamala Harris has been vocally outspoken about how horrible “domestic abuse” is, while turning a blind eye to it at home. It seems her husband, Doug Emhoff, slapped his ex-girlfriend one time in public. Reportedly, “so hard, she spun around.” The media is having a field day.
Harris turns blind eye
What he did is terrible, Kamala Harris has to admit. Her “past condemnations of domestic abuse and sexual assault perpetrators” won’t allow otherwise.
The only things she can say in defense of her husband are that the slapping happened a long time ago and he hasn’t hit her, yet. If he does, she’ll shoot him. She’s a firm believer in Second Amendment rights, despite being a loyally progressive Democrat.
The Daily Mail is reporting that “three anonymous friends of” an unnamed successful New York attorney told them the 59-year-old Hollywood lawyer smacked his date in the face “so hard, she spun around.”
As Harris already knew, the incident allegedly happened “as the two waited in the valet line following an event at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2012.” She let him get away with it.
Apparently, Emhoff has a jealous streak. The public is suprised to learn that considering the way he lip locked Jill Biden at Joe’s first State of the Union speech. Harris critics couldn’t ask for better material to use against her.
The right “swiftly seized on the alleged abuse — purportedly prompted by Emhoff’s misplaced jealousy in assuming his beau was flirting with another man.” the did it “by recalling years of the vice president claiming she believes women who are survivors of sexual assault.”
Believe survivors
If Kamala hears the phrase “believe survivors” one more time today, she’s going to freak out. It’s bad enough that Harris has to explain how Doug’s first wife kicked him out for impregnating their nanny. Democrats make a big deal about the issue.
“Credulous attitudes toward sex abuse allegations had reached a fever pitch among Democrats during the contentious confirmation hearings for now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in 2018.” You can’t even make rude comments at a frat party anymore. There was once a time in America when kids didn’t need helmets, padding and Kevlar to ride a bicycle.
Harris had no problem at all siding with Christine Blasey Ford’s allegations that “Kavanaugh forced himself on her at a high school party.” She even spread unfounded rumors about him. Every one of her “pound me too” comments are coming back to haunt Kamala now.
“Wore black today in support of all survivors of sexual assault or abuse. We won’t let them be silenced or ignored.” She ignored her hubby’s ex-girlfriend, though. The bleepch deserved it, she privately muses.
Brandon Morse, senior editor at RedState, chuckles “the sentiment had aged like milk.” As Harris posted in May 2017, “we need to take crimes against women and children more seriously — crimes like human trafficking, domestic violence, and child abuse.”
One social media user added a reply Wednesday, “maybe talk to your woman beater husband.” Another thing people forget about is the way Kamala stood up for Joe Biden when he “was accused by former Senate aide Tara Reade of sexual assault.” Harris didn’t believe her either.
