The game between the Pistons and Magic got out of control rather quickly on Wednesday night.
Just prior to halftime, Mo Wagner had lost control of the ball going down the sideline of the court.
As Killian Hayes tried to make a play, Wagner aggressively shoved him, with Hayes falling into the bench.
Hayes responded by slamming Wagner in the back of the head, knocking him out cold for a few moments.
Ejected…
I have seen plays like this plenty of times in the NBA.
While words are usually exchanged, I have never seen someone react this way, especially in hitting the player from behind when he had no chance of defending himself…
Mo Wagner bumped Killian Hayes into the Pistons bench.
Detroit teammates swarmed Wagner, and then Magic players rushed over to the bench. Hayes went back at Wagner.

Mo Wagner got a Flagrant-2 for this altercation and got ejected.
Killian Hayes and Hamidou Diallo also got ejected.

Wagner was tossed for a flagrant foul.
Hayes was also tossed for throwing the punch.
The NBA will be reviewing this play and fight to see if any further discipline needs to be handed out.
