There has long been a desire by the left to have Michelle Obama jump in politically.
She is adored by the left, but she has had no desire to run for office as of yet.
Michelle may be pressed into duty, however, if the Biden situation gets direr.
Obama for President 2.0
The most prominent rising star in the Democrat Party is probably Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA).
Even with a rising profile, it is unlikely he will have enough of a profile and/or support to be a serious threat by 2024.
Gavin Newsom, Kamala Harris, Pete Buttigieg… all are no’s in the eyes of the American public.
Suddenly, Michelle Obama is popping back up on the scene.
Some, including Fox News’ Jesse Watters, believe she could be making a run…
Michelle and Obama have been living the dream since Barack left office, and she has given no inclination that she wants to get back in the game.
She would be adored by the left, so, yes, in my opinion, she would be a legitimate threat.
She may be the only real threat the left has, but is she ready to give up the dream life for at least four years of being in the national spotlight and the scrutiny that comes with it?
And, as Watters noted, we have no idea where she stands on so many issues.
So, whether this could be the case or not, if she does run, it would more than likely be equated as a third term for Barack Obama, which would bring about a whole new set of challenges for Democrats in terms of PR.
