House Speaker Pelosi (D-CA) has always considered herself a devout Catholic.
It is tough to justify that position when she so vehemently supports abortion.
Finally, a high-ranking member of the Catholic Church is holding her accountable.
No Exceptions
The current Pope has proven time and again that he is not a true leader of the Catholic faith but instead a politician.
He hugs and holds court with the likes of Pelosi and Biden, two people who now both support the killing of the unborn.
There is no room for argument as far as the Catholic Church is considered on this front…
Without exception, abortion is against doctrine.
San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone has finally made the call… Nancy Pelosi is no longer permitted to receive Holy Communion.
As long as she supports abortion, she may not receive the sacrament.
In a letter, he stated, “A Catholic legislator who supports procured abortion, after knowing the teaching of the Church, commits a manifestly grave sin which is a cause of most serious scandal to others.
“Therefore, universal Church law provides that such persons ‘are not to be admitted to Holy Communion.'”
She will surely object and I would not even be surprised if the Pope tried to step in on her behalf.
As a matter of fact, I hope he does because it will show just how much of a hypocrite he really is.
