The January 6 committee hearings are getting some prime-time TV spots.

Considering the hearings are on every cable news network, the ratings are not exactly envious.

We do know who is watching, however.

That would be Merrick Garland and his team of prosecutors.

Do Your Job

It would appear that Garland and his prosecutors are a bit lazy.

Rather than do their own work, they seem to be relying on the committee’s efforts.

Now, on the surface, it may not seem like a bad thing for them to tune in to see if they missed anything, but these hearings are about as biased as it gets.

If you are prosecuting people, you want to ensure you get all the facts straight, not the twisted narrative being pushed during these hearings.

Garland has the most powerful investigative tools and investigators at his beck and call, so why would he be relying on the committee in the first place.

Gowdy, in part, stated,”He has federal law enforcement at his beck and call. He has scores of prosecutors, he has access to a grand jury and search warrants… he can access financial records and phone records… he can compel witnesses to testify… so why is he watching television?

“Why does the chief prosecutor, the managing partner of most powerful law firm in the world need to watch television to gather facts?

“He can interview any of the witnesses he wants to interview.

“He can gather whatever evidence he thinks is relevant.”

This just gives you an idea of how horribly defective our Justice Department has become.
