This week, all the rage was a Chinese spy balloon that had traveled across the entire United States.
The Pentagon stated that it did not want to shoot the balloon down for fear of casualties on the ground.
That decision would come back to haunt the Pentagon and Joe Biden, as heavy criticism has followed.
Mission Completed
The balloon ended up being shot down on Saturday afternoon.
It was taken out by fighter jet missile strike.
By that time, however, the balloon had traveled from coast-to-coast, gathering all the data it had planned.
It was not until the balloon went out over the Atlantic that the Biden administration decided to take it out…
China, of course, is saying that this was a civilian balloon that lost its way.
After the balloon was destroyed, the Chinese responded, “China” will resolutely safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the company concerned, and reserves the right to make further responses if necessary.”
Now the administration is going into spin mode, saying that Biden gave the order to shoot it down on Wednesday, but he did not want any American casualties.
So, we are to believe that there was no other possible time to shoot the balloon down over areas that were not occupied until it got over the Atlantic?
Yeah, I am not falling for that, especially considering the lack of transparency from this administration.
I hope they have the communications to back that up because I guarantee you that the GOP House will be coming after Biden on this one.
