For all the complaining that Democrats do about the Supreme Court, it seems as though they are winning more than losing these days.
The latest being a bit of a stunner in the “public charges” case headed up by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
A total of 14 states joined the suit, but it was all for naught.

The Supreme Court has declined to protect Donald Trump’s “public charges” rule for immigration.
For you and I, this means we end up paying through the nose again.
Donald Trump had defined a public charge as those coming applying for residency but that would require government assistance.
Joe Biden redefined the public charge rule to only include those that would “mostly” be living on government handouts.
This changes the rule significantly because it opens up residency to migrants that will be tapping into taxpayer-funded programs to live here.
Even in the losing decision, Justice Roberts did make mention that this administration has been free and loose with how it is changing laws, so we have to expect some pushback at some point.
Keep in mind, Joe Biden just wrote another rule that creates “parole” for 30,000 migrants a month from four countries.
This is his way of lowering illegal encounters by offering these migrants a legal way to enter the country.
I am sure that rule will be challenged as well; it is just a matter of time.
