Kamala Harris plans to appease the baby murdering howls of her progressive base by killing off the Senate filibuster. West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin is the only voice on the blue side of the Senate complaining about the outrage. “Shame on her,” he scolds. Majority Leader Chuck Schumer ducked the question and changed the subject.
Harris goes nuclear
Kamala Harris is ready to exercise a “nuclear option” to eliminate the hallowed Senate filibuster. That’s the only way Democrats see to clear a path toward abortion victory. They think prospective mothers should have a nationwide right to murder their baby.
Kamala wants congress to write a new law, even though progressive prosecutors refuse to enforce the ones we already have. Including ones against shoplifting, car theft and armed robbery.
On Tuesday, September 24, Kamala Harris declared her full support for “changing Senate filibuster rules.” Anything it takes to get a Democrat hot button issue passed through the machinery of Capitol Hill.
That would allow “a simple majority vote to codify the nationwide right” for women to murder their unborn baby. Maybe even a little after birth, depending on the circumstances.
“I’ve been very clear, I think we should eliminate the filibuster,” Harris proclaimed. If not totally then at least keep it from applying to what was formerly covered by Roe v. Wade. That would allow 51 votes in the Senate to “put back in law the protections for reproductive freedom.”
That’s the nicer sounding way of saying every fertilized woman can decide on murdering their unborn child or not. Democrats say it’s a decision about “their own body” but that’s not true. It’s the baby’s body that Planned Parenthood chops up and sells for parts.
Ignore the government
Harris is already taking heat for threatening to shoot anyone who tries to burglarize her home in the middle of the night. She promised to ignore the law and open fire. Nobody needs to actually obey the law against retail theft or dealing drugs. Enforcing those laws is racist. Still, what we need is a new law allowing murder. We can’t have the government telling people “what to do.”
Apparently if Kamala gets elected it will be free-for-all anarchy. That’s why it seems so strange she’s interested in crafting another useless law. The real reason is simply to make disappointed liberals think she’s on their side. Like everything else she does, all cotton candy show and no substance.
West Virginia Senate Democrat Joe Manchin was furious when he heard the news. “Shame on her,” he exclaimed. “She knows the filibuster is the holy grail of democracy. It’s the only thing that keeps us talking and working together. If she gets rid of that, then this would be the House on steroids.”
To Harris, nothing matters except winning. She’ll say whatever it takes to get votes. Following through is a totally different story. Like the way she handled her job as Border Czar.
Manchin isn’t afraid to cross the aisle on an issue where he disagrees with his colleagues on the blue team. RINO Republicans run around in a herd to sabotage conservative measures on a regular basis but DINOs were practically extinct. Manchin may be the only one left, after Sinema backed out.
“That ain’t going to happen,” Manchin predicts about the filibuster change. “I think that basically can destroy our country and my country is more important to me than any one person or any one person’s ideology.” Meaning Harris. “I think it’s the most horrible thing.” To him, killing the filibuster is worse than killing babies.
