There is now a casualty in the Ukraine-Russian war that is creating global outrage.
The rules of war have gone out the window for Putin, but it seemingly took the death of an American journalist to make everyone aware of the situation.
Award-winning filmmaker Brent Renaud was killed during a recent Russian attack.
Photographer Juan Arredondo was injured.
Shot Dead
The death was not by a random bomb; Renaud was apparently killed by Russian troops on the ground.
A journalist that was in the area at the time described the scene.
BILD journalist Paul Ronzheimer stated, “The explosions were happening and we were there with a group of journalists.
“These two… they went further into the town.
“And after some time we heard shootings.
“We saw how the second American journalist got evacuated.
“He was with rescuers and they put him over the bridge and into a hospital. And he told us that his second — his colleague, got shot.
“And he didn’t know at that time what happened.
“And after some hours, it was clear that Brent actually was dead.“
Arredondo later clarified that Renaud had been shot in the neck.
Ronzheimer added, “You can see that every day here, they don’t follow rules at all.
“I just came back from the apartment building here, which was attacked… It’s proof that Putin is attacking civilians, and this is a cynical lie of him saying he would only attack military targets.“
