While the conflict between Israel and Hamas intensifies, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has issued a chilling warning to the U.S. as well as its allies regarding their support of Israel’s actions. The message was posted to social media as Israeli forces make their way further into Gaza territory.

“Zionist regime’s crimes have crossed the red lines, which may force everyone to take action,” he said before adding that Washington had asked Iran not to do anything while simultaneously giving wide-ranging support to Israel’s efforts. He continued by asserting that U.S.-aligned groups opposed to both America and Israel had sent clear messages regarding their stance on the battlefield, something which was reportedly covered by Tasnim News Agency in a statement from Raisi himself.

Raisi also took issue with what he deemed hypocritical behavior from the U.S., citing their support of Israel’s efforts despite Hamas having killed more than 1,400 people during an October 7 raid into Israeli territory according to Newsweek reports. He went on to ask if America could provide any meaningful answers when questioned about their role in these atrocities against humanity.

This was also addressed during his interview with Al Jazeera on Saturday, October 28, where he sought to differentiate Iran from militia groups it provides weaponry for in the region according IRNA news agency reports France 24 relayed at the time.

In this same interview, Raisi argued that although America is aware of Iran’s capabilities it cannot overcome them – a point backed up by his assertions that attacks conducted by Tehran-linked forces against US troops were done so as responses following messages received from Washington as per Jerusalem Post reports at the time.

Furthermore, he suggested that ground troops sent by Israel into Gaza had already been defeated – though this claim has been denied outright by IDF sources who insist soldiers are instead pushing out Hamas fighters along their path as they move towards northern parts of Gaza (per Times of Israel).

Despite these claims however, Israeli forces continue urging residents living in certain areas within Gaza not flee due to safety concerns.
