It now appears that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is about to make it much easier for illegals to get around.
The agency has announced a new pilot program to provide illegal immigrants IDs.
Rather than the traditional paper documents they have been getting, ICE will now provide official government IDs when illegals are processed.

On the surface, this sounds like it will make it easier for ICE to track illegals, but I smell something funny here.
An ICE spokesperson stated, “Specifics of the program are still under development, but a primary goal of the SDC is to improve current, inconsistent paper forms that often degrade rapidly in real-world use.
“Pending the outcome of the pilot, ICE will consider further expansion.”
TSA has been allowing illegals to travel throughout the country using warrants, so this ID would seemingly make their lives far easier in terms of travel.
I don’t believe anything our government tells us these days, so I tend to lean more toward this ID serving as a temporary green card of sorts for illegals.
Now, to be clear, I am not saying this will give them green card status.
however, I can see this administration somehow figuring out a way to tie these IDs into allowing illegals a way to secure housing, employment, open bank accounts, etc., while not technically being given green card status.
How about this… deport them all and make them come back to the country legally.
That works for me.
