Let’s see how Rep. Ocasio-Cortez feels about protecting Palestine now that five of her constituents have fallen victims to a Palestinian terrorist.
Sadly, that includes a pregnant woman.
In all, eight people were shot when a Palestinian terrorist opened fire on a bus in Jerusalem on Sunday.
Just Bad People
The pregnant woman that was shot is reportedly listed in serious condition.
Of the other four people that were Americans, a man, the father of the family, is listed in serious condition.
Reports stated that one man had been shot in the head and neck, but it is unclear if that is the same man.
The family was on a bus traveling to David’s Tomb at the time of the attack.
The bus had been parked near the Western Wall, a holy site, when the shooting started.
US ambassador to Israel Thomas Nides stated, “Deeply saddened to confirm that Americans were injured in this attack.
“I’ve spoken with the families and will keep them in my prayers.”
The alleged shooter, who is now in custody, is a Palestinian resident.
There was a time when it would have been unthinkable for Americans to be attacked abroad, but those days are clearly behind us.
We have yet to hear a comment directly from Joe Biden or the White House on this attack.
