Right now, Democrats are in panic mode regarding the nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.
We all expected them to make a move against her, and they have… twice.
First, Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA) issued a letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee stating that there was not enough time to properly vet Barrett.
That, however, is complete nonsense.
In modern history, there have been at least two justices confirmed in less than 45 days.
Ironically, both were when there was a Democrat in the White House and even more ironic is the fact that one of them was Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who was confirmed in less than 45 days after being nominated.
The second attack was after Trump tested positive for COVID-19.
Because Barrett had recently been in contact with Trump, Dems wanted her nomination halted.
Unfortunately for them, Barrett tested negative on Friday, but it gets far worse for Democrats.
According to a just-released Washington Post report, Barrett already had the virus over the summer and has completely recovered from it, making it highly unlikely to catch it again or be a carrier.
Sorry, Dems, but as Senator McConnell (R-KY) has already stated, it is “full steam ahead.”
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, her hearings will start on October 13 and she should be confirmed on or around October 22.
