Alina Habba, an attorney for Donald Trump, is finally opening up about the problems with the DOJ.

Habba was discussing the DOJ’s recent leaks regarding the documents taken from Trump’s home.

In part, she called them “incredibly disturbing.”

Swaying Public Opinion

This is an ongoing DOJ investigation, so the information should not be leaked out by prosecutors for any reason.

With so much criticism over the raid, however, we know why the leaks are happening.

You would have to be a fool not to see it.

The DOJ is trying to influence public opinion to justify the raid and hang Trump out to dry.

In my opinion, it makes it ever more apparent that this is a political attack more than anything else.

Habba stated, “This is incredibly disturbing to me in terms of leaks coming from the Justice Department.”

The initial report came out via the Washington Post, with, and, as usual, unnamed sources.

She continued, “When you have to defend yourself [as the DOJ is currently doing], stories come out. … And I think that’s exactly what they are, just stories.”

Habba was also quite aware that the DOJ will fight the special master ruling, but as far as she is concerned, this was still a big win solely for the fact the investigation gets the brakes put on it, even if for only a minute.

She stated, “What people need to remember is that this ruling is an injunction, so at this moment everything has stopped in terms of any investigation they might be having, which is a very big win for the Trump team.”

This could actually hurt Republicans for the 2024 election.

If Trump plans on running, the GOP needs an outcome on this as quickly as possible, otherwise, it could be an October surprise right in the final days of the 2024 election.
