I have to admit… I am stunned by this one.
DC Mayor Bowser had requested the National Guard be activated to assist her during her migrant “crisis.”
Shockingly, the Pentagon has turned down her request.
Deal With It
After the request was made and evaluated, Bowser was told she cannot have Guard troops to assist her in her “crisis.”
A defense official stated, “We have determined providing this support would negatively impact the readiness of the DCNG and have negative effects on the organization and members.
“We understand SAMU First Response has received grant funding through FEMA’s Emergency Food and Shelter Program, and has indicated that sufficient EFSP funds exist at this point to provide migrant assistance.”
The irony in all of this is that DC has only seen about 4,000 total migrants over a period of weeks.
Texas is seeing about four times that amount on a daily basis, and Joe Biden could care less.
So, actually, when I think about it, it is not really all that surprising that Joe Biden shot her down because this administration could care less about the mess it is creating at the border.
The interesting thing will be how Bowser reacts from this point forward.
We know this administration is obsessed with proper language, and Bowser openly calling this a crisis did not sit well with anyone at the White House.
God forbid you portray something truthfully without the proper approval from the Almighty Joe.
