The longstanding line in the sand that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi drew is finally getting crossed.
After significant pressure from her fellow Democrat House members, the California Democrat finally cracked.
Rather than continue her boycott of discussing a workable stimulus package, it has been confirmed that Pelosi will keep the House in session until an agreement is reached.
The Revolt Changed Everything
There are quite a few Democrats in the House that are very vulnerable right now and they are not happy.
They are all upset because Pelosi is playing politics with their constituents’ future.
While Pelosi plays hardball to get trillions of dollars in wasteful spending approved, more and more Americans are going broke, and more and more businesses are closing their doors forever.
Even so, Pelosi never expected to get called out by her fellow Democrats in the House, but that is exactly what has happened.
The most notable of which is Rep. Kendra Horn (D-OK), who is fighting for her political life right now…
What truly "falls short" is doing nothing. It is flatly unacceptable that congressional leadership is not at the table when businesses are closing, Americans are out of work, and families need help. The political games have to stop. https://t.co/OMGdCsSRG6

All Republicans need to do is continue to hold together and they will likely be able to agree on a piece of legislation that will come in well under the initial $3.4 trillion HEROES Act and possibly much less than the $2.4 Pelosi was willing to go down to.
With the country staring down the barrel at a $20 trillion deficit, this legislation needs to be clean and barebones. Anything else is simply unacceptable.
