I am really struggling to figure out what Joe Biden’s end game is right now.
The only real leverage Joe Biden has right now against Russia is to choke its exporting of energy.
The rest of the sanctions are fluff that sounds great but really do nothing.
Yet, the administration just admitted that choking this source of income is not the point of the sanctions.
Then Why?
This strategy was flawed from the outset.
Biden has been talking about sanctions for more than a month.
That being the case, you better believe Russia and its moist powerful oligarchs have done everything in their power to minimize damage by the expected sanctions.
As stated above, the real way to get Putin to buckle is to cut off his energy business.
However, Deputy National Security Advisor Daleep Singh conceded, “Our sanctions are not designed to cause any disruption to the current flow of energy from Russia to the world.”
The response was not met kindly…
Then they aren't much in the way of sanctions. https://t.co/c4SkPESqSV

Not a serious administration. https://t.co/4G3yCdr6EB

Russia currently provides the entirety of Europe with about 40 percent of its energy.
Energy is Russia’s number one export, which means it is the biggest moneymaker this country has.
That is the head of the snake, so to speak, and Biden is going to allow it to continue to breathe.
There is simply no way Putin is taking this administration seriously.
