Somehow, people are buying the rhetoric that the White House is selling.
The latest Gallup poll is out and Joe Biden has made a HUGE Move.
Biden picked up six points in the latest poll.
Biden is now above 40 percent again, getting 44 percent approval in this survey.
Who’s Buying It?
The one telling sign from this poll is that the disapproval figure is not really budging, holding firm at 53 percent.
So, Joe managed to sway a decent amount of the people sitting on the sideline.
This is still a problem for conservatives because that pool of voters is mostly moderate Democrats and independents, exactly what we need to win elections.
Biden is also still way down from his ratings from this time last year, when he was at 49 percent.
That, however, was when the big swoon started, as Biden had just botched the Afghanistan withdrawal, leaving American citizens behind enemy lines.
My concern with these rising numbers is that people are buying into the idea that the Inflation Reduction Act will reduce inflation.
The challenge here is that most of the damage that will be done by that legislation and the student loan debt shift will not come to fruition until after the election.
Biden and Democrats may have timed this out perfectly for a November boost, figuring they have two years to try to clean up the mess before the drive for 2024.
Regardless, I am shocked that people are falling for this nonsense and Biden managed to get above 40 percent before the upcoming election.
Just goes to show that we need to remain vigilant and not get too comfortable because we all know how quickly things can change in our political world to create an unexpected swing.
