I am going to say this again… the Uvalde mass shooting NEVER should have happened.

The more facts come out, the more it appears there were numerous breakdowns that should have prevented this atrocity.

At the top of that list would be the final social media posts made by the shooter.

Disturbing Warnings

ABC News visited the home of the shooter and talked to the grandfather.

Early reports noted that the shooter purchased the guns legally after his 18th birthday.

His grandfather, however, stated that the boy was a felon, so he should not have even been able to purchase the guns had a proper background check been done on him.

He had made numerous social media posts telegraphing what he was going to do, which included a fairly graphic conversation with an unidentified female.

Nothing was more damning than his last three Facebook posts, however.

Roughly 30 minutes before the mass shooting took place, the shooter, Salvador Ramos, posted, “I’m going to shoot my grandmother.”

A few minutes later, he posted, “I shot my grandmother.”

That was then followed up with, “I’m going to shoot an elementary shool [sic].”

Yet, throughout all of these warning signs, it would appear that not a single soul alerted the police.

This NEVER should have happened.
