A murder scene in Oklahoma this week was like a scene out of “Deliverance.”
Four locals went out for a bike ride and never came back.
Their bodies eventually resurfaced, but they were cut in half and floating in a river.
Sending a Message
These “victims” may have been “a message” by a local criminal letting everyone know not to mess with his business.
Police believe the four men were actually planning to carry out a crime, only things did not work out quite as well as they had planned.
One of their phones was pinged at a local salvage yard where a local criminal set up shop, who is now a person of interest in the murders.
When the bodies were found, they were floating in the Deep Fork River.
The mother of one of the deceased stated, “It’s something you read about on the news, about what they did to my son and his friends.
“To chop a body in half is what the drug cartels do to the dead.
“Whoever did this clearly wanted to send a message.”
The victims were identified as Alex Stevens, 29, Mark Chastain, 32, his brother Billy Chastain, 30, and Mike Sparks, 32.
