Bad things continue to happen on the streets of New York, but now it is seeping into the mayor’s neighborhood.

The rich and powerful are livid that a young 20-year-old mother appears to have been assassinated in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, just blocks where the mayor himself lives.

It is just one in a string of violent crimes that have plagued New York City under Eric Adams.

Killing Grounds

Mayor Eric Adams was supposed to get New York City back on track.

We have seen more pictures of him out partying, however, than we have seen of him in his official capacity.

Maybe that will change now that someone was murdered only blocks from the mayor’s mansion.

According to reports, around 8:23 p.m. o n Wednesday, a 20-year-old mother pushing a three-month-old child in a stroller was targeted by an assassin.

A man dressed in all black approached her, then pulled a weapon and fired a single shot into her head.

The shooter fled on foot, and the woman was pronounced dead about an hour later at a local hospital.

Now that violent crime has worked its way into his neighborhood, Adams is finally paying attention to the ridiculous policies of his liberal DAs.

He stated, “It doesn’t matter if you are on the Upper East Side or East New York, Brooklyn, the over-saturation of guns and dangerous people that repeatedly leave our criminal justice system to continue actions like this, it’s what’s making the New York City Police Department and other law enforcement agencies here in New York, across the country – and across the country – difficult to fight this issue.”

The NYPD is asking anyone with any information on the murder to call 1-800-577-TIPS.

Police have no motive, nor are they sure if there is any connection between the shooter and the victim.
