Joe Biden left the meeting with the Saudis talking tough.

Biden came out saying that the Saudis were upping oil production and that he made his position quite clear on where he stood with the Crown Prince on the murder of Khashoggi.

Both accounts have been refuted by the Saudis now.

Another Lie

Yesterday’s last report covered the oil claim.

After Biden stated that the Saudis would be upping production by 50 percent, the Saudis came back and indicated that they had nowhere near the capacity to do such a thing.

Not only that, but they hammered Biden on his climate change agenda.

Today, reports broke of yet another alleged Biden lie.

The Saudi foreign minister said he had never heard Biden mention the Khashoggi murder.

When he was asked if the minister was telling the truth, Biden lost it, saying, “No.”

But then came the real problem, adding, “Why don’t you guys talk about something that matters?

“I’m happy to answer a question that matters.”

I am sure Khashoggi’s widow would think that question was important, as would scores of Americans who are repulsed at the idea of doing business with a country that ordered the brutal murder of a journalist.

When you consider how big a deal Biden made about this during the campaign, well, I would say it is a very big deal.

Now, who do we trust?

Joe Biden, who has a penchant for lying, or the Saudis, who are not exactly truthful.

I don’t think it matters, really, because the effort the Saudis to undermine Biden and made him look like an idiot is the real story here.

Biden gets zero respect from leaders in other countries, which is a real problem for the people of the United States.
