The attacks against civilians continue in Ukraine by Russia.
This morning, we woke up to the horrific news that a civilian railway station was bombed.
Dozens have already been reported as dead, and the tally continues to grow.
Just Horrific
When reports first broke, the death toll was about 30 people.
That has since grown to 50, and the fear is the tally will be much higher by the time the area is cleared and everyone treated.
Kramatorsk railway station was hit on Friday by a Russian rocket.
This, again, was clearly not a military target.
The photos and video are horrific, with travelers lying on the sidewalk motionless, blood everywhere…
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated, “Russian forces (fired) on an ordinary train station, on ordinary people, there were no soldiers there.”
A large piece of one of the rockets that hit the station had something scribbled on it.
According to the translations, it said, “for our children.”
Pavlo Kyrylenko, the governor of the Donetsk region, added, “The ‘Rashists’ (‘Russian fascists’) knew very well where they were aiming and what they wanted: they wanted to sow panic and fear, they wanted to take as many civilians as possible.”
As I have stated before, Russia is clearly targeting civilian targets to rip the soul out of Ukraine, but it serves the opposite purpose.
The people of Ukraine are now more angry, resistant, and determined to defeat Russia.
Global outrage is no longer enough… something must be done to stop Putin.
